Rodrigo Alves, a Brazilian father and mother was Rodrigo Alves when Alves was 30 July 1983 in Sao Paulo. Her father, Roserval Alves, hailed from an ethnically Portuguese family which arrived in Brazil in the early 1940s. At first, the family engaged in agriculture however they expanded their involvement in business to include supermarkets, malls, and real estate. Her grandfather bought Barbie dolls for her as an infant. However, even though Alves was identified as a male at birth, but from "the age of three and four, five, six" she believed she was be female. She was a doll and interdressed. [6][7] Alves believes that the person shouldn't be categorized as gender-based. In her youth, she was shy and bullied. When she was a teenager, Alves had a hormone problem, caused by high levels of estrogen which led to breast tissue to grow; Alves' other traits were taken advantage of by bullies. Alves' family is home to a number of Brazilian grocery stores, and has made their wealth. But, Alves is yet to earn any money from these stores as of 2018.
