Antonia Lofaso

The food that is served by Chef Antonia is an invitation for you to discover the inner depths. Food that she cooks is a source of fascination that grew from moving out of the suburban areas of Long Island and into the multicultural landscape that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas are able to blend seamlessly on the menu, an idea that has developed through many years. In all her dishes she draws a picture that is unique and reflects nostalgia for the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became very well received. Lofaso's old-school Italian version is regarded as one of Los Angeles' most captivating restaurants. The food at Lofaso is always genuine, warm and delicious. Lofaso trained under the most renowned chefs and learned the latest methods but she never afraid to go against her intuitions. After a brief period she rose to the highest level of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In the following years, she worked with many famous celebrities while transforming various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso joined forces together with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, a new bar in Studio City. In Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found an appropriate new home. Lofaso could find the space to create the work she desired through this collaboration. Black Market doesn't have one distinct direction. That is their intention. It could start with Dill chips and then Shishitos peppers. Then comes a Korean wing and finally the meatballs course. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling variety of tastes is Antonia. Lofaso assesses the success she has had all through her career on the basis of her natural ability to get to know her audience well and be true to her personality. Famous performances on Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her personality outside the cooking area. Lofaso's talents are also evident in her recurring roles as a CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge and on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and the ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Easy and Delicious Recipes in 2012, along with Penguin. It also told the tale of her struggles during her time at The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea, as well. Lofaso says that her passion in cooking is the primary force behind her achievements. She is always in the know through keeping a keen to the latest trends and fashions. She is revolutionizing her industry's aesthetic by redesigning chef wear for style and functionality, through her brand Chefletics. Lofaso is a firm believer that adhering to your vision is important. To accomplish this goal, she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. It allows customers to enjoy the most personal experience.
